- Check your registration at FCvotes.com Be sure all information is current and correct. You can view and download your sample ballot. While you are at it, check the voter registration of your family and friends and be sure it is correct, too.
- If you need to register to vote or update any information (address, political party, etc.), you can do this during One Stop Early Voting, October 15 - 31. You will need to bring some identification verifying your name and address. Click here to find out what you need.
- Ex-felons can register and vote in North Carolina Ask for your Certificate of Restoration of Forfeited Rights of Citizenship from your releasing officer (N.C. Gen. Stat. 13-2). This is not necessary to register or vote, but may make it easier should you encounter any problems.

THERE ARE THREE WAYS TO VOTE IN THIS ELECTION
- On Election Day, Tuesday, November 3 at your polling place; open from 6:30am-7:30pm. To find your polling place, go to Find My Polling Place.
- During One Stop Early Voting, October 15-31 at 17 locations in Forsyth County. Click here for the times and locations.
- By Absentee Mail-in Ballot - The deadline to request an Absentee ballot has passed. If you have received your Absentee ballot, return it as soon as possible! The best option is to take it to any Early Voting site until 3pm, Saturday, October 31 (when Early Voting ends) or to the Forsyth County Board of Elections office until 5pm on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3. If mailed, it must be postmarked by 5pm November 3.
