Ready to Vote

New to voting? Have questions about voting Absentee By Mail?
Have you moved since the last time you voted?

Here's what you can do right now to get Ready To Vote!

  • Check your registration at FCvotes.com  Be sure all information is current and correct. You can view and download your sample ballot. While you are at it, check the voter registration of your family and friends and be sure it is correct, too.

  • If you need to register to vote or update any information (address, political party, etc.), you can do this during One Stop Early Voting, October 15 - 31. You will need to bring some identification verifying your name and address. Click here to find out what you need.

  • Ex-felons can register and vote in North Carolina  Ask for your Certificate of  Restoration of Forfeited Rights of Citizenship from your releasing officer (N.C. Gen. Stat. 13-2). This is not necessary to register or vote, but may make it easier should you encounter any problems.
