Vote By Mail
Go to ncsbe.gov/voting/vote-mail and request your ballot using the online form or download and print the form. Deadline to request your mail-in ballot is October 29, 2024 but don't wait - request it now so that you will receive your ballot and vote and return it well in advance of the November 5 deadline.
Once you receive your ballot, fill it out in the presence of 2 witnesses or a notary public (they don't see how you vote, only that you complete the ballot), sign the ballot envelope and have the witnesses sign. Insert photocopy of your photo ID in the designated place. Place correct postage amount on the envelope or take to a post office and have the envelope stamped with date and postage.
Return the completed ballot to the FC Board of Elections as soon as possible, or take to an Early Voting location during Early Voting.
Ballots must be received by the Board of Elections by 7:30pm on November 5. There is no grace period for mailed ballots postmarked on or before November 5. They must be received by November 5. Return your ballot as early as possible to be sure it will be counted!
