Voter Registration
Three ways you can register to vote or change information on your registration:
1) Download and print a registration form, and mail or hand-deliver it to the Board of Elections in English / en Espanol

2) Online at the NC Department of Transportation website
If you have a NC driver's license or a non-operator ID card issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles, you can register or change your information online. Visit tinyurl.com/NConlinevoterreg.
3) Same day registration at any Early Voting site
You can register to vote/update your information - and vote at the same time - at any Early Voting site using "Same-Day Registration". You will need to bring identification verifying your name and address. Any of the following documents with your current name and address are acceptable:
1) Download and print a registration form, and mail or hand-deliver it to the Board of Elections in English / en Espanol
- Mail or hand-deliver it to Forsyth County Board of Elections, 201 N. Chestnut Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101.
- It must be received by 5pm, October 14, 2022 for the November 8, 2022 election.

Don't have a printer? The following locations have voter registration forms:
- Forsyth County Democratic Party, 723 Coliseum Dr. NW, Suite 201
- Forsyth County Board of Elections, 201 N. Chestnut St.
- All branches of the Forsyth County Public Library
- Forsyth County Department of Social Services, 741 N. Highland Ave.

3) Same day registration at any Early Voting site
You can register to vote/update your information - and vote at the same time - at any Early Voting site using "Same-Day Registration". You will need to bring identification verifying your name and address. Any of the following documents with your current name and address are acceptable:
- North Carolina driver’s license.
- Other photo identification issued by a government agency. Any government-issued photo ID is acceptable, provided that the card includes the voter’s current name and address.
- A copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other government document showing the voter’s name and address.
